About the project
Project “INSPIRE – Accreditation for Sustainable Progress, Innovation and Excellence of Ukrainian Higher Education System towards European Integration” / “Institutional Accreditation for Sustainable Development, Innovation and Excellence of the Ukrainian Higher Education System in the Context of European Integration”
Project Objective:
The objective of the project is to establish a reliable institutional accreditation system for Ukraine’s higher education sector that will promote quality enhancement, continuous improvement, and alignment with European standards, even in times of crisis or instability. The project envisages simplifying accreditation procedures, reducing the administrative burden, minimizing corruption risks, and increasing the motivation of academic staff and students.
A key focus of the project is the development of human potential through professional development programmes at higher education institutions and national quality assurance bodies. Staff will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage accreditation processes and integrate them into institutional strategies. Post-accreditation monitoring will ensure the sustainability of results and support further continuous improvement.
The proposed reforms will not only contribute to achieving strategic development objectives but will also make a significant contribution to Ukraine’s post-war economic recovery by supporting innovation, cooperation, and integration with the European research and education area.
