About the project
The objective of the NEXT project is to bridge the existing gap between the rapid pace of digital transformation and the training of professionals from various fields, particularly those not related to IT. Currently, many of these professionals are insufficiently prepared to work effectively with digital technologies and tools and to understand the potential risks and challenges associated with their use, including mental health issues and legal aspects.
Specific Objectives of the NEXT Project
- Training students from various academic disciplines in digital technologies, soft communication skills, legal aspects, and mental health support to help them prepare for the changing requirements of the modern labour market.
- Training teachers to support students with the assistance of qualified trainers.
- Developing innovative learning resources in line with the latest trends in digital technologies.
- Developing students’ teamwork skills and improving their digital competencies through a student project competition.
- Establishing advanced multimedia laboratories at Ukrainian universities to support students by providing them with practical experience in using the latest equipment and technologies.

- WP1 — Project management, coordination, and quality assurance.
- WP2 — Development of methodological support for the Virtual Exchange programme model.
- WP3 — Establishment of a network of advisory offices for academic mobility programmes.
- WP4 — Development of a web portal for the Unified Information Space.
- WP5 — Practical piloting of Virtual National and International Academic Exchange Programmes.
